Yeah. Online jobs was very familiar for most people. Either fulltime or freelance.
Whatever your expertise, hobbies, or your interests, all that can be used as an opportunity to make money. Ranging from writing, data entry, administration, marketing, design, consulting, programming, and etc.
This phenomenon can be seen from the rise of online outsourcing services, freelance jobs listings, or freelancers directory. The employers or companies so interested to hire freelancers from various countries.
Why does it happen?
It not regardless from more increase in demand for quality of services and products from a lot customers.
To answer the challenge, each employers/companies encouraged to explore the quality of their products or services through the experts in their fields.
Why should online recruitment?
I think, one word "efficiency".
The employers/companies benefited from some aspects :
- The employer/companies can determine timeline of a project (contract system).
- If the company's losses : without any layoffs, no guarantee of accommodation or facilities for their employees.
- No cost for retirees, and others.
For online freelancers:
Be creative without pressure from big boss, allow us to have more networks in the world wide web, flexibility of location, flexible hours, great income. Maybe these points can explain why someone would prefer to work online as an alternative income even become the main job, besides other supporting factors.
But, it became a dilemma for a freelancer, that there is no certainty of income every day, week, or month. If called free time?, no pressure?, not always true. Why?. Sometimes, some bids came suddenly or stacking, force us to do it, we often lose time with family. Haha.
All require loyalty, management. Just like in the real world.

If I'm asked, I chose online job or online freelance as an alternative income, not as a main job.
