Make yourself safety as freelancer

safety as freelancerBecome a legitimate freelancer can be used as a guarantee that we are free from possible fraud from the clients?

I think "it will not guarantee". Especially for us as beginners freelance.

So, why and how do we respond it?

Okay. I need to affirm that the world of online freelance vulnerable with fraud, either planned or unplanned by a few clients.

I think there are some identifications of potential fraud on a project :

1. Auction rate from a project does not make sense. How if you receive a project for example translation services : 1000 words valued $400-$500?.

2. Without a clear description the project. Means that the project offered did not provide details desired by the client.

3. Without project timeline. Means that clients asks you to revise repeatedly without payment agreement on working hours, will be harmful for freelancer.

4. Without a clear system of payment like "Escrow" or direct transfer.

5. No clients contact information. It indicates that the client not seriously.

Maybe the things above only a small part. But basically, we as beginners freelance should be more critical in receiving a project from the clients, "Don't Easily Believe".

Anyone want to add or disprove? :)
