Freelancers ASK - How Ways Winning Projects

Winning Projects
Price...Price...Price...

You as professionals or creative freelancers are not separated from price negotiations in some projects.

Yeahh. Price. Price of one important indication in winning a project. I did some analysis, most freelancers have difficulty in determining the price to their prospective clients.

They pressed from such intense competition in the market price of the project. Dilemma : The client wanted the lowest possible prices and highest quality, while you want a decent price according to the quality yourself.

You as being employed certainly consider some aspects of your finances in working on a project.

So, how and what the ideal steps?

Some steps that may help you:
  • Perform market research on several projects in your field.
  • If you have set, do not forget about the quality of your self ... feasible for that price?. In this case, you are still considering the aspects of your finances.
  • Promote yourself, show your prospective clients that you are a special compared with your competitors.
From some of the views mentioned above, raises some questions that stirs :

1. Freelancing = it's all about price? so that the final goal just won, the price is not considered so valuable. Low price, then I win. Of course, will disrupt the market price. ( I think )

2. Freelancing = it's all about level skill, portfolio, certification, education? you need to build integrity. Your integrity = Your price. Good integrity = High prices ( I think ).

3. Freelancing = it's about promotion methods, relationship, networking? establish good relations to prospective clients, clients, partners, team, etc ... lets you get long-term contracts. ( I think ).

According to my view, point (2) and point (3) is more effective to maintain the reputation and your freelancing career. :)

How about you?

Always happy in your freelancing, keep working, keep your health!:)
