As you know, there are many ways to get an email address either through company, your own host, Internet Service Provider, or through free email provider such as Google mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, AOl, etc.

Question: How do you as a freelancer using email as more effective email marketing strategy?

In my opinion, There are 5 email tips that may help you :

1. The naming of email address

If you are a serious provider, you should use "the naming of email address" look professional as yourself representative. 

Example : 
danieldesign@yourdomain.com better than daniellovecrazyproject81@yourdomain.com in my opinion. By selecting a good email naming, allows your prospective clients will be more interested and confident to contact you further.

2. Stay focused and consistent

Create a special email address for your clients. Keep trying for do not change it rapidly. If not possible, tell your clients before you replace it. Does it matter?, I think yeah. Apart form your professionalism, It is also to keep your communication with your clients is maintained. This means, your communication do not lost if your clients contact or send tasks to you at anytime.

3. Make your own protection

You should be anticipate all possibilities that occur on your online activity. Protect your email from hacking acts, spamming by irresponsible parties, and so forth. Therefore, make your email protection through protective applications such as antivirus, antispyware, malware, etc. No less important, still trying to do not spread your email address carelessly. It will provoke spammers come to you... indirectly will interfere your work productivity.

4. Use filters, labels, folders

Maybe you are receiving hundreds even thousands of emails in your inbox every seconds or hours, It's sometimes very bother. To organize all your network, you can use filters, labels, and folders on your email setting. Making it easier for you to choose and connect with anyone.

5. Schedule follow-ups

To allows you in control of all scheduled tasks, you can integrate your email with a calendar program like Google Calendar if you are a Gmail user. So, will allows you to follow up your scheduled task regularly and controlled.

  1. Yes, really love when logos have a strong, clear symbol instead of all those text and type based logos around. An art director once told me one simple rule; make sure your logo fits into a small square at the right top of a page. This one definitely applies to that!
