In developing/creating a web, online code editing tool might be used as an alternative tool for you as web programmer, web developer, or web designer. Especially for those who are familiar with editing code manually.There are several advantages that can be seen from the online code editor. You are equipped with : file browser, syntax highlighting, tabbed editing, theme editing, snippet manager, find/replace, debugging tool, preview the results, remote connection and local files, and FTP access that allows you to extract/upload to your server directly.
Just to complete your collection ... in this post I have collected some web based code editors to make your job easier.
Most of these applications are open sources and supports several programming languages such as PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, Ruby, Python, MySQL, C#,C++, etc.

5. Kodingen : Kodingen is a cloud development environment, code editor, hosting service, database administration program, and collaboration platform. Support : PHP, Ruby, MySQL, and more.
6. PHP Code Editor : PHP Code Editor works in almost any web browser, that supports Javascript.
7. WYMeditor : WYMeditor is an open source web-based WYSIWYM editor with semantics and standards in mind. Support : XHTML, CSS, Javascript.
8. elRTE : elRTE is an open-source WYSIWYG HTML-editor written in JavaScript using jQuery UI.
9. Geany : Geany is a small and lightweight Integrated Development Environment. Support : , Java, PHP, HTML, Python, Perl, Pascal, XML, YAML, C#, C++, and much more.

23. JS Bin : JS Bin is a webapp specifically designed to help JavaScript and CSS folk test snippets of code, within some context, and debug the code collaboratively.
