Be Giving to Receive in Freelancing

Take and Give in Freelancing
Christmas joy will soon arrive and not felt...We will end this year. For the remaining days, I'll write a topic as the closing post of this year.

In this post, I'll review about one of the "marketing mindset" to build your career as a freelancer, especially for beginners in the world of freelancing.

Yeah. Give to receive. How and what impact?

Okay, let's discuss.

Undeniable, the fact remains that in any marketing have a competitive side. Compete to attract customers. The companies, marketers, publishers working hard to be a leader in order lots of people recognize and accept in them.

As well as you as a freelancer. You are faced with many challenges ranging from self-management, time management, financial management, improving skills, build networks, and how to manage yourself marketing to lots of customers or clients.

However, whether you just walk and think about "competition" so that makes you stressful? I hope not.

For that, I invite you to reflect on successful internet Entrepreneurs. I take two samples: Larry Page and Sergey Brin have successfully created the internet revolution through GOOGLE. Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, founder of one the largest social network site that we know that is FACEBOOK.

They have worked hard and dedicated himself to creating things that are useful for many people. In fact, they have booked himself as a millionaire on relatively young age.

What are the secrets of their successes?

In my opinion: the action is the cause and the money is due. Always presents that are useful thing, still trying to satisfy customers, and not solely "compete" for money, then the consequences ... customers will trust and loyal to you.

How to apply it to build your freelance career in the long term?

Some points that might be relevant to do as a freelancer:

1. Share your knowledge for free to anyone

By sharing any knowledge, interests, or skills that you have ... allow people to open themselves to know you further. This means, will ease many people to know your credibility. As you know, there are many ways to share... you can write both online and offline through web/blog, social network sites, newspaper, magazines, etc.

2. Share samples of your work for free to anyone

Just like the first point. You can share some of the best works for free to anyone. Thus, allowing the quality of your skills will be easily well known by many people. This means, will invite the new customers/clients come to you.

3. Give bonuses to customers/clients

In this case, you can give bonuses such as "overtime work, even unpaid", "discount", and other forms. I think it should be applied as respect or tribute to your customers or clients for their loyalty and trust placed to you.

These simple reviews may be used as the material reflection to build your career in the future. Really hope useful for you.

Please if anyone wants to respond or add. Thank you.

Happy freelancing, happy working, keep your health, and happy holidays...Before, I would like to say Merry Christmas! Survivors met in 2012! :)
