3 Simple Ideas Make Collaborate Effectively As a Virtual Team

Make Collaborate Effectively
Work online and remotely is a challenge for online workers either freelance or full-time.

As employee, you are required to communicate, collaborate, and connect globally with any locations anywhere with different time zones, including differences in language, and other factors.

While in other hand, you need to focus on your projects, the project deadline you do, make revisions (if any), make invoices, and other tasks. Of course, it would take more time.

To balance your time and your work efficiently, I think ... needed an effective way so you do not spend your time when you communicate or collaborate with your client or team work.

Question : How to collaborate effectively as a virtual team with clients or your team work?

These 3 Ideas that I means :

1. Set tasks and the team goals

In this case, each team member must understand their roles and their responsibilities. Thus, there is "an assurance" that the project can be controlled either when the project is received, completed, and approved by client.

2. Create a special room for your team

Specify one or more communications media that are considered "the most rapidly" to help your team working more effectively. It aimed to keep your project on track. For example: only use short messages via online chat, video chat, email, phone calls, or make a special web for your work team. Maybe you can try to create wiki site as a place to share files online, discuss, and so forth.

3. Create a shared calendar

Set a clear timetable, so each team member knows the schedule of each event such as online meeting, presentation, or make revision of the project, etc.

Some project management tools to support you in collaboration with your team work or your client

1. Multiple-Monitor Setup

2. Time tracking - online conference - meeting tools - file sharing

3. Online presentation tools

4. Online fax tools

5. Online Costumer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

6. Useful apps for your international clients

7. Online data backup tools

How do you think?

Glad to hear your opinion. Please if you have other opinion. Thank you.

Happy freelancing, keep working, keep your health, and good luck for all! :)
